Weswal Kokedama Workshop
Come along and learn the art of Kokedama making in the beautiful surrounds of Weswal Gallery; located at 192 Brisbane Street, Tamworth, NSW, 2340. The class is located inside the gallery so we host the class rain, hail or shine!
All materials to create your very own kokedama are provided. Along with light refreshments. It's a really fun class, with no experience or specific skills needed. My biggest tip is to not wear white, because it can be messy! The class goes for approximately 1.5 hours and is recommended for people over the age of 12 years.

If you have a group of 6 or more, and would like to host your own Kokedama Workshop. Here is some important information for you:
Cost: $60 per person
What is included: All the materials needed to create your kokedama. And yes that means that you get to keep your kokedama. I try to bring along more plants and string than needed, to make sure there's variety for you and your guests.
Equipment: I can also bring trestle tables, chairs, table clothes and a 3x3 marquee if needed.
Suitable space: To host a Kokedama workshop I recommend a space that has hard floors (tiles, floor boards etc) or outside. It can be messy. Dining room tables are actually amazing... it is really easy to clean up permitting it's not on carpet!
Its also handy to have enough elbow room, stringing for the first time can be a little tricky.
I have held classes, at homes, cafes and of course at a gallery.
Who: There is no specific skills required for kokedama making. But I do recommend people over the age of 12, as stringing is a little tricky. I do have a working with children's check.
It is LOTS of fun, so the workshop is great for team bonding events, hens nights, birthday parties or just a great way to catch up with friends.
Max: I have completed workshops with up to 25 people before. If you would like to host a large group, I will need to know in advance so I can bring along enough helpers.
Location: I am located in Tamworth. If you would like to host a workshop in a surrounding town it is a minimum of 10 people and I also bring a helper.
Dates: Please contact me directly for available dates or to check if your desired date is available. You can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org, inbox me on Facebook or Instagram or use the contacts page.
Handling money: I will place a link on the website for your private class so that your guests can pay and secure their spot. PayPal and Credit Card options are available. Some cash can be paid on the day, however; a minimum of 6 payments must be paid prior to the class to secure the workshop.
Organising: One way to stay on the same page is to create a Facebook event - after you've talked dates with me. I am happy for you to tag/invite me to the group so I can answer any questions or queries from the guests.
Time: The workshop it self goes for about 1.5 hours. I would arrive with my helper, approximately 40 minutes before to set up and remain about 30 minutes after to clean up/pack up.
Any further questions please feel free to contact me.
